Sarah has been a Montessori Primary teacher at Pacifica Montessori since 2016. She began her journey with the school in 2000 as a teacher’s assistant. Although she took time off and pursued other careers, the call to work with children and her respect for the Montessori Method brought her back to Pacifica. She was particularly compelled by the importance placed on cultivating children’s potential with incredible care in the early years. Sarah completed the American Montessori Society (AMS) teacher training in 2016.
Sarah feels fortunate to work at a school that not only believes in the Montessori Method, but also implements it fully. According to Sarah, “One of the most satisfying aspects of teaching at Pacifica is watching children become independent and confident.” Having spent many years here, Sarah feels like it is her second home, like a family. She loves the small community of staff, parents, and children all working together.
When not teaching, Sarah enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and obsessing over her dog Harley. Back to Our Staff Page.
